Yoshiki has more than 30 years of experience in Investment Banking and Merchant Banking Divisions of Nomura Securities. He has primarily worked at the wholesale business including Corporate and Public International Finance, Foreign Companies’ listing to Tokyo Stock Exchange, Cross‐border M&A, FDI Advisory, Project Finance, Country Risk Research, New Business Development, Private Equity and Venture Investments. As the Head of European Merchant Banking based in London, he led four VC teams such as Bio, IT, Healthcare Service and CleanTech to invest venture companies in Europe and North America. His last responsibility was the Head of Asia Merchant Banking based in Hong Kong in charge of Nomura’s Growth Cap Investment in Asia. After retirement in 2013, he is supporting some SMEs, start-ups, social entrepreneurs and NPOs in Japan as a strategic advisor and mentor.He graduated from Osaka University for Foreign Studies and started his career as a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
